Description

Apple Cider Corned Beef and Cabbage slow cooked for tender brisket and sweet savory flavor.


Ingredients

3–4 lb corned beef brisket

3 cups apple cider

1 cup beef broth

4 carrots

1 onion

1 small cabbage

1 lb baby potatoes

2 garlic cloves

1 bay leaf


Instructions

1. Rinse corned beef.

2. Place onion, garlic, and bay leaf in slow cooker.

3. Add brisket and spice packet.

4. Pour apple cider and broth over meat.

5. Add potatoes and carrots.

6. Cook on low for 480 minutes.

7. Add cabbage last 90–120 minutes.

8. Rest, slice against grain, and serve.

Notes

Cook on low for best tenderness.

Slice against the grain.

Use fresh apple cider for deeper flavor.
