Description
Carrot cake cinnamon rolls combine cozy spice, shredded carrots, and cream cheese glaze into the perfect soft and sweet treat.
Ingredients
- 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast
- ¾ cup warm milk
- ¼ cup sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 egg
- 1 cup finely grated carrots
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ tsp salt
- For the filling:
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 3 tbsp butter, softened
Instructions
1. Activate yeast in warm milk with sugar.
2. Mix in egg, carrots, butter, and flour to form dough.
3. Knead and let rise until doubled.
4. Roll dough, spread filling, and roll into log.
5. Slice and place in greased pan. Let rise again.
6. Bake at 350°F for 25–30 minutes.
7. Glaze with cream cheese icing if desired.
Notes
Refrigerate overnight before baking for easy prep.
Add orange zest or crushed pineapple for extra flavor.
Store in airtight container up to 3 days.
