- 2 cups cooked chicken
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Melt butter in pot.
2. Whisk in flour to make roux.
3. Add broth and milk slowly.
4. Add broccoli and seasonings; simmer 10 minutes.
5. Add chicken; cook 5 minutes more.
6. Stir in cheese until melted.
7. Serve hot.
Notes
Use sharp cheddar for best melt.
Add cream cheese for thicker texture.
