Description
Rich and creamy garlic parmesan chicken made in one pan with everyday ingredients. Perfect for quick dinners, meal prep, or cozy nights in.
Ingredients
2 boneless chicken breasts or thighs
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup heavy cream
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
1/4 cup chicken broth (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry and season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs.
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
3. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
4. Lower heat. Add garlic to skillet and sauté 30 seconds.
5. Pour in heavy cream, scraping up browned bits.
6. Simmer 2–3 minutes, then stir in Parmesan until melted.
7. Add chicken back to pan. Spoon sauce over top.
8. Simmer 2 more minutes to combine flavors. Garnish and serve.
Notes
Use thighs for juicier results. Swap cream with half-and-half plus flour for a lighter version.
Serve over mashed potatoes, pasta, or roasted vegetables.
Store leftovers for 3 days in fridge. Reheat gently with broth to loosen sauce.
