Description
Creamy mushroom chicken skillet with tender chicken breasts and a rich garlic mushroom sauce. Perfect for weeknight dinners.
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp butter
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup chicken broth
½ tsp thyme
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ cup Parmesan
Fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
1. Season chicken and sear until golden.
2. Remove and sauté mushrooms in butter.
3. Add garlic, thyme, and broth; stir in cream and Parmesan.
4. Return chicken; simmer until thick.
5. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Use half-and-half for lighter sauce. Serve with pasta or mashed potatoes.
