Description
Tender chicken in a rich mushroom cream sauce, made in one pan for a quick and comforting meal.
Ingredients
4 boneless chicken breasts
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup chicken broth
¾ cup heavy cream
1 tbsp flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
Fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil and cook chicken until golden.
2. Remove chicken; sauté mushrooms in butter.
3. Add garlic and cook one minute.
4. Whisk in flour, broth, and cream.
5. Simmer until thickened.
6. Return chicken to pan and simmer 5 minutes.
7. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
Use yogurt for a lighter version.
Add wine or herbs for extra flavor.
