Description
Crockpot beans and sausage dinner is a hearty, slow-cooked comfort meal packed with rich flavor.
Ingredients
2 cups dried navy beans
14 oz smoked sausage
1 small onion
3 cups chicken broth
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp paprika
½ tsp black pepper
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1. Rinse and soak beans overnight
2. Brown sausage slices
3. Add all ingredients to crockpot
4. Pour broth and add spices
5. Cook on low 6–7 hours or high 3–4 hours
6. Adjust seasoning and serve
Notes
Use canned beans to save time
Avoid lifting lid while cooking
Add greens at the end
