Description

These Crumbl Christmas Cookies are soft, buttery, and frosted with pink buttercream for a bakery-style holiday treat you can easily make at home. Inspired by Crumbl’s classic sugar cookie, this copycat recipe delivers the same nostalgic flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale

2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

1 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon almond extract

Pink food coloring (optional)

1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

2 tablespoons heavy cream

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • 3. In a large mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  • 4. Add egg, vanilla, and almond extract, mixing until combined.
  • 5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  • 6. Chill the dough for 30 minutes to prevent spreading.
  • 7. Roll dough into 2-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  • 8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are just set but not browned.
  • 9. Let cookies cool completely before frosting.
  • 10. In a bowl, beat powdered sugar, butter, and heavy cream until smooth and creamy. Add a drop of pink food coloring.
  • 11. Frost each cookie generously and top with festive sprinkles.

Notes

For the softest cookies, don’t overbake—they should look slightly underdone in the center.

If you prefer a stronger almond flavor, add a few extra drops of extract.

You can color the frosting red or green for extra holiday fun.
