Description
Garlic Butter Corned Beef and Cabbage slow cooked until tender and finished with rich garlic butter.
Ingredients
3–4 lb corned beef brisket
4 cups beef broth
1 lb baby potatoes
4 carrots
1 onion
1 small cabbage
4 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic
1 tbsp parsley
1 bay leaf
Instructions
1. Rinse corned beef.
2. Place onion and bay leaf in slow cooker.
3. Add brisket and spice packet.
4. Pour broth over meat.
5. Add potatoes and carrots.
6. Cook on low for 480 minutes.
7. Add cabbage last 90–120 minutes.
8. Mix butter and garlic.
9. Brush beef with garlic butter.
10. Rest, slice against grain, and serve.
Notes
Cook on low for best texture.
Slice against the grain.
Add cabbage near the end.
