Description
Garlic Butter Steamed Clams with fresh clams simmered in garlic butter, white wine, and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
2 lbs littleneck clams
3 tbsp butter
4 garlic cloves
1/2 cup white wine
1/2 lemon
2 tbsp parsley
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Black pepper
Instructions
1. Rinse clams.
2. Melt butter and cook garlic.
3. Add wine and simmer.
4. Add clams and cover.
5. Steam 5-7 minutes until open.
6. Stir in lemon and parsley.
7. Serve immediately.
Notes
Discard unopened clams.
Serve with crusty bread.
