Description

Rich, fudgy Heart Shaped Brownies with a creamy cheesecake layer and tangy raspberry swirl the perfect Valentine dessert.


Ingredients

Scale

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

⅓ cup cocoa powder

½ cup flour

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp baking powder

Cheesecake Layer:

8 oz cream cheese

¼ cup sugar

1 egg

½ tsp vanilla

Raspberry Swirl:

½ cup raspberries

1 tbsp sugar

1 tsp lemon juice


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment.

2. Simmer raspberries with sugar and lemon juice until thick; cool.

3. Whisk butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cocoa, flour, salt, baking powder.

4. Pour ¾ batter into pan.

5. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla. Spread over brownie layer.

6. Add spoonfuls of raspberry swirl and remaining brownie batter. Swirl gently.

7. Bake 35–38 minutes. Cool, refrigerate 1 hour, cut into hearts.

Notes

Chill before cutting for clean heart shapes.

Store in refrigerator up to 5 days or freeze up to 2 months.
