Lemon Garlic Chicken with Asparagus Skillet is a quick one-pan dinner with juicy chicken, fresh asparagus, and bright lemon flavor.
Ingredients
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 lb fresh asparagus trimmed
3 tbsp olive oil
4 garlic cloves minced
1 lemon zest and juice
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes optional
1/4 cup chicken broth
2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Instructions
1. Season chicken with salt pepper and paprika
2. Heat olive oil in skillet over medium heat
3. Sear chicken 5-6 minutes per side until 165F
4. Remove chicken and set aside
5. Add garlic and cook 30 seconds
6. Add asparagus and cook 3-5 minutes
7. Add broth lemon zest and juice
8. Return chicken and simmer 3-4 minutes
9. Sprinkle parsley and serve
Notes
Use chicken thighs if preferred
Do not overcook chicken
