Description

Mexican Wedding Cookies Recipe with buttery pecan dough rolled in powdered sugar.


Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 cup finely chopped pecans

1/4 tsp salt

1 cup powdered sugar for rolling


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

2. Beat butter and powdered sugar until fluffy.

3. Mix in vanilla.

4. Stir in flour, pecans, and salt.

5. Roll into balls and bake 12–15 minutes.

6. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar.

7. Cool and roll again.

Notes

Chill dough if too soft.

Toast pecans for stronger flavor.
