Description
Shamrock Sugar Cookies with Green Icing are soft buttery cut-out cookies perfect for festive celebrations.
Ingredients
2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup unsalted butter softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
2–3 tbsp milk
Green food coloring
Instructions
1. Whisk dry ingredients
2. Beat butter and sugar
3. Add egg and vanilla
4. Mix in dry ingredients
5. Chill dough 30 minutes
6. Roll and cut shamrock shapes
7. Bake 8-10 minutes
8. Cool completely
9. Mix icing ingredients
10. Spread icing and let set

Chill dough to prevent spreading
Let icing fully set before storing
