Description
Easy, hearty, and family-approved tater tot casserole with ground beef, cheese, and crispy golden tots.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus extra for topping)
2 cups frozen tater tots
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Brown beef and onion, drain grease.
3. Stir in soup, half the cheese, salt, and pepper.
4. Spread mixture in baking dish.
5. Top with tater tots.
6. Bake uncovered 40 minutes until golden.
7. Add remaining cheese and bake 5 more minutes.
Notes
Add corn or green beans for variety.
Use cream of chicken soup for a different flavor.
Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days.
