Description

These slow cooker turkey meatballs are juicy, flavorful, and easy to make. Toss everything in the crockpot and let the magic happen while you go about your day.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 cups marinara sauce

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.

2. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overmix.

3. Form meatballs (about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter).

4. Place meatballs into slow cooker in a single layer.

5. Pour marinara sauce evenly over the meatballs.

6. Cover and cook on LOW for 4–5 hours or HIGH for 2.5–3 hours.

7. Check that internal temp reaches 165°F.

8. Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meatball mixture this can make them tough.

Let the meat mixture rest 5–10 minutes before rolling.

Use a cookie scoop for evenly sized meatballs.

Leftovers store well in the fridge for 4 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
