Description
Juicy teriyaki chicken served over warm rice and vegetables for a quick, family-friendly dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken thighs
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp ginger
1 tbsp cornstarch + 2 tbsp water
2 cups cooked rice
1 cup broccoli
Sesame seeds and green onions
Instructions
1. Heat sesame oil in skillet.
2. Cook chicken until golden.
3. Mix soy sauce, honey, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
4. Pour sauce over chicken and simmer.
5. Add cornstarch slurry and thicken.
6. Serve over rice with vegetables.
Notes
Swap rice for noodles.
Add pineapple for a tropical twist.
