Description
Turkey Lettuce Wraps with Fresh Herbs that are light, high protein, and full of flavor.
Ingredients
1 pound ground turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
2 tablespoons soy sauce
Juice of 1 lime
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 head butter lettuce
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
2 green onions, sliced
1 small carrot, shredded
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in skillet.
2. Cook garlic and ginger briefly.
3. Add turkey and cook until browned.
4. Stir in soy sauce and lime juice.
5. Remove from heat and stir in herbs.
6. Spoon into lettuce leaves.
7. Top with green onions and carrot.
8. Serve immediately.
Notes
Store filling separately for meal prep.
Use butter lettuce for best texture.
Freeze filling up to 2 months.
