Description

A vibrant and flavorful Italian salad board featuring creamy burrata cheese, ripe tomatoes, and fresh basil. Perfect for summer gatherings or a light meal, this dish highlights the natural freshness of its high-quality ingredients.

Ingredients

Burrata Cheese – 1 large ball (200g)
Ripe Tomatoes – 6 medium (husked cherry or heirloom)
Fresh Basil – 1 small bunch
Olive Oil – 3 tablespoons
Sea Salt – To taste
Crushed Black Pepper – As needed

Instructions

Cut the burrata in half and gently fluff the interior with a spoon.
Halve the tomatoes and set aside.
Wash and pat dry the basil leaves.
Slice a few basil leaves into small ribbons for garnish.
Prepare a serving board by placing a large cloth or paper towel underneath to catch any juices.
Arrange the burrata, tomatoes, and basil artfully on the serving board.
Drizzle the olive oil over the board and sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
Garnish with basil ribbons and serve.

Notes

Use room temperature burrata for the best flavor and texture.
Choose ripe but not overly juicy tomatoes for a better balance.
Pluck basil just before serving to keep it crisp and fresh.
For a more elegant touch, add slices of cucumbers or red onions.
