Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup buffalo hot sauce
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1 cup cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, freshly shredded
2 tbsp green onions, sliced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F.
In a large bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and ranch dressing until smooth.
Stir in the hot sauce until the color is uniform.
Fold in the shredded chicken and half of both cheeses until well combined.
Spread the mixture into a small baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
Top with the remaining cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.
Remove from the oven, garnish with green onions, and serve hot.
Notes
Always use freshly shredded cheese to avoid anti-caking agents, ensuring a smoother melt. You can serve this with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or carrot sticks for dipping.
