Ingredients
1 lb Ground Beef (85/15 lean ratio)
12 oz Wide Egg Noodles
1 can (10.75 oz) Tomato Soup
2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
1 small Onion, finely diced
2 cloves Garlic, minced
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the egg noodles according to package directions until al dente.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, breaking it into small crumbles as it cooks.
Add the diced onions and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until the onions are soft and translucent.
Drain any excess grease from the skillet.
Stir the tomato soup into the beef mixture until well combined and heated through.
Combine the cooked noodles with the beef and soup mixture, tossing thoroughly to coat.
Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread into an even layer.
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
Notes
Ensure you drain the ground beef well to keep the casserole from becoming too oily. For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of dried oregano or Italian seasoning to the beef mixture. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
