Ingredients
1 tube crescent dough
1 wheel Brie cheese
1/2 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
1/4 cup roasted unsalted pecans, finely chopped
6 sprigs fresh rosemary, cut into 1-inch pieces
Cooking spray
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F and thoroughly grease a 24-cup mini muffin tin.
Dust your work surface with flour, unroll the crescent dough, and pinch all perforations closed to create a solid sheet.
Cut the dough into 24 even squares and press each one gently into the muffin tin cups.
Slice the Brie into 24 uniform pieces and place one into each dough-lined cup.
Spoon a generous amount of cranberry sauce over each piece of Brie.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top of the cranberry sauce.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
Remove from the oven, garnish each bite with a small piece of fresh rosemary, and serve warm.
Notes
Ensure you remove the white rind from the Brie for a smoother, creamier texture inside the bites. You can prepare the dough squares in advance and keep them covered to speed up assembly. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated in a low-temperature oven.
