Description

This Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip features tender shredded chicken, melted full-fat cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and zesty buffalo sauce. The slow cooker ensures a creamy, spicy texture with minimal effort. Ideal for gatherings and perfect with celery sticks, carrots, or tortilla chips.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups cooked chicken (rotisserie or pre-cooked)
1 cup full-fat cream cheese
1/2 cup buffalo sauce (garlic flavor recommended)
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup green onion, finely sliced

Instructions

Shred cooled chicken using two forks
Cube cream cheese for easier melting
Finely slice green onion
In crockpot, combine chicken, cream cheese cubes, buffalo sauce, and cheddar cheese
Stir until chicken is fully coated
Add half the green onion
Cook on low for 2 hours
Switch to high setting for 30 minutes
Top with remaining green onion before serving

Notes

Ensure the buffalo sauce is alcohol-free
Use a serrated knife for clean slices
Rest the dip for 10 minutes before serving
Adjust sauce with 1 tbsp water if needed
Avoid pre-shredded cheeses and start on low heat
