Description
Floral Buttercream Mother’s Day Cake with soft vanilla layers and delicate buttercream flowers.
Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1 cup unsalted butter
4 eggs
1 cup milk
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Cream butter and sugar.
3. Add eggs and vanilla.
4. Mix dry ingredients separately.
5. Combine dry ingredients and milk into batter.
6. Pour into cake pans.
7. Bake 28–30 minutes.
8. Cool completely.
9. Prepare buttercream.
10. Frost and decorate with floral piping.
Notes
Use gel food coloring for vibrant flowers.
Chill cake briefly before decorating.
