Ingredients
1 pound (450g) snap peas
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup (40g) slivered or sliced almonds
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Wash snap peas and trim ends
Mince garlic and slice almonds
Heat skillet over medium, add almonds and toast 4-5 minutes
Remove almonds and set aside
Heat butter in large skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant
Add snap peas and sauté 5-6 minutes until tender but crisp
Season with salt and pepper, then toss with toasted almonds
