Description

A refreshing and creamy dip made from blended Greek yogurt, chilled cucumber, garlic, and bold lemon juice. Perfect for appetizers, grilled vegetables, or dipping crudités, this no-mayo alternative offers a tangy, herbal, and crisp flavor balance.

Ingredients

Scale

Greek yogurt
1 small cucumber
1 clove garlic
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt to taste
freshly ground pepper to taste
2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

Peel and grate cucumber into a bowl
Tightly wrap grated cucumber in a clean towel
Squeeze hard until most liquid is removed
Combine yogurt, garlic, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and dill in a blender
Blend until fully smooth (1–2 minutes)
Add drained cucumber in 2–3 pulses to reach desired consistency
Transfer mixture to a sealed container
Chill in refrigerator at least 15 minutes
Stir again before serving

Notes

Use cold ingredients for optimal texture
Add salt during cucumber draining to draw out moisture
Blend pump cucumber incrementally for better consistency control
Chill thoroughly to allow flavors to meld completely
