Ingredients
1 lb fresh strawberries
12 oz orange candy melts
1 tube black decorating icing
Instructions
Wash strawberries thoroughly and pat them completely dry.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Place orange candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat melts in 30-second intervals in the microwave until smooth.
Dip each strawberry into the melted coating, leaving the green stem exposed.
Place coated strawberries on the prepared baking sheet.
Refrigerate for 15 minutes to allow the coating to fully set.
Use black piping icing to draw jack-o’-lantern eyes and mouths on each berry.
Notes
Ensure the strawberries are completely dry before coating to prevent the chocolate from seizing. You can substitute orange candy melts with white chocolate tinted with orange food coloring if preferred.
