Light and fluffy pink champagne celebration cake perfect for Mother’s Day
Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup butter
1 ¾ cups sugar
4 egg whites
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup pink champagne
½ cup milk
pink food coloring optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Mix flour baking powder and salt
3. Beat butter and sugar
4. Add egg whites
5. Mix in vanilla
6. Combine champagne and milk
7. Alternate dry mix and liquid
8. Add pink color
9. Bake 28–30 minutes
10. Cool before frosting

Use rosé as a substitute
Add strawberry filling for extra flavor
