Ingredients
2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast
4–6 whole jalapeños (stemmed)
2 cans (15 oz) drained white beans
1 tbsp cumin
4 cloves minced garlic
4 cups chicken broth
1 can evaporated milk
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
Mix chicken with 1 tsp cumin, salt, pepper
Dice jalapeños and mince garlic
Brown chicken in oil until golden
Sauté garlic, then add jalapeños
Return chicken to pot with beans, broth, and milk
Simmer 20-30 minutes
Shred chicken and adjust spiciness
Notes
Use thighs for juicier texture
Remove jalapeño seeds for milder flavor
Use halal-certified chicken broth
Substitute garlic powder if needed
