Description

These festive, spook-tacular ghost strawberries are a whimsical and healthy treat perfect for seasonal celebrations. Fresh, firm strawberries are dipped in a velvety layer of white chocolate and finished with delicate dark chocolate faces. This simple, no-bake recipe combines the natural tartness of fresh fruit with the rich, creamy sweetness of chocolate, creating a delightful contrast that is sure to enchant guests of all ages. They are easy to prepare, visually stunning, and entirely alcohol and pork-free.

Ingredients

Scale

12 large fresh strawberries
1.5 cups white chocolate chips
2 tablespoons semi-sweet chocolate
1 teaspoon coconut oil

Instructions

Wash the strawberries thoroughly and pat them-completely dry with paper towels to ensure the chocolate adheres.
Melt the white chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl using thirty-second intervals, stirring between each.
Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted white chocolate until well coated.
Place the coated berries on a parchment-lined baking sheet and allow them to set.
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate and transfer to a small piping bag or a plastic bag with the corner snipped.
Pipe two small circles for eyes and an oval for a mouth onto each strawberry to create a ghostly expression.
Refrigerate the tray for 15 minutes to allow the chocolate faces to firm up before serving.

Notes

Ensure strawberries are at room temperature and perfectly dry before dipping to prevent the chocolate from seizing. If the white chocolate is too thick, add an additional half-teaspoon of coconut oil. These treats are best served fresh but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
